Dallin's First Day of School

Here is Dallin on his very first day of school. The school has them carry book bags instead of backpacks. He was a little disappointed, because he already picked out a cool Batman backpack for school.

Dallin is getting on the bus for his very first ride to school. He did such a great job! He was happy and climbed right on the bus. I was honestly expecting a breakdown. Yeah Dallin!

Here are Dallin and Allie waiting at the bus stop together. Allie is sweet and sits with her brother at the front of the bus (kindergartners have to sit towards the front) even though she's a 5th grader and can finally sit in the very back of the bus.

So, my very last child has headed of to school, which leaves me alone for about 3 hours a day. I haven't been home without a child at home in 17 years! The first day was a little sad, but I got over it quickly and I am enjoying the free time.

Levi Dressed for School Spirit Day

It was spirit day at Levi's school and he was supposed to dress in orange. Wearing a simple orange shirt wasn't enough for him, so he decided to wrap a pair of his pants, a shirt and a sweatshirt in bright orange duct tape. I think the orange headband he borrowed from Allie really ties the whole outfit together. He is always one to go "overboard" for the school spirit days. Goofy kid!

Jordan - Mormon Prom 2010

Jordan went to the Mormon Prom with Janelle on March 13th. I lucked out, because Janelle's Dad took all of these photos (plus more!). I was a bit bummed thinking I wasn't going to get any photos, but I got lots of great ones. From now on I am going to make sure all of Jordan's dates are with a girl that has a photographer for a father.

First, I feel the need to point out that the only thing Jordan told me about her dress was that it was pink. I asked what shade of pink and he said "I don't know." Do you see how well his tie matches her dress? I am good!

Austin Dinosaur v.2

Austin figured out how to use the green screen in this, his epic sequel to "I Eat You Like a Dinosaur".
