Here is Dallin on his very first day of school. The school has them carry book bags instead of backpacks. He was a little disappointed, because he already picked out a cool Batman backpack for school.
Dallin is getting on the bus for his very first ride to school. He did such a great job! He was happy and climbed right on the bus. I was honestly expecting a breakdown. Yeah Dallin!
Here are Dallin and Allie waiting at the bus stop together. Allie is sweet and sits with her brother at the front of the bus (kindergartners have to sit towards the front) even though she's a 5th grader and can finally sit in the very back of the bus.So, my very last child has headed of to school, which leaves me alone for about 3 hours a day. I haven't been home without a child at home in 17 years! The first day was a little sad, but I got over it quickly and I am enjoying the free time.
